Best Canadian Oil and Gas Companies

Nov 04, 2023 By Triston Martin

Upstream, midstream, and downstream are the three primary divisions that make up the oil and Gas Companies everywhere, including Canada. These divisions are largely consistent across all locations. Exploration and production, often known as E&'P, refers to the process by which crude oil and natural gas are extracted from the earth. This process involves drilling wells to reach oil deposits located below the surface of the earth. Because both of these technologies are very pricey compared to more conventional ways of well-extraction, the price of oil at which oil sand producers may break even is much higher than the price at which more conventional producers can break even.
